After almost two years of silence on the airwaves, I bring good news! Turbow Talk & Tunes returns!
As a college senior with more time and a desire to return to the station, I am able to revive tt&t for this final semester of my time at Yale. I'm very excited about it.
I was just in the station yesterday for re-uppance training, and learned how to use all the new exciting technology that they have there. This includes, ever-so-importantly, new computers and new software, which will hopefully not eat my shows like before. The other big change is that wybc is now largely online, and tt&t will no longer be gracing the radio airwaves, but rather the internet airwaves on www.wybcx.com.
My new time is every other Thursdays at 5:00, starting next week (February 4, 2010). Get excited about new segments, great music, and hearing about all the interesting people on our campus and the things they care about!
Acknowledging that that time is not good for everyone, I will try to post links to previous episodes on this blog. The links will connect to google docs, and you will have to download the episode (unfortunately, it's kind of complicated to make them streaming or embedded. Or maybe it isn't and I'm just a dope). The files may be too large for google docs to scan them for viruses, but I hope that you'll trust that they come straight from my itunes and won't be bad for your computer.
To practice, here are links to the first and second episodes of the show when it first aired in spring 2008. I hope you enjoy them.
